The Board of Directors of Southside Family Charter School is charged with providing oversight of the school's programs, finances, legal compliance while guiding the school towards its mission and vision.
Membership
The board is comprised of up to 13 members who are elected at the Annual Meeting in September. Members are classified as either Parent Members (family of a student currently enrolled at the school), At-Large Members (interested community members and supporters) or a Teacher Member (appointed by the staff of the school). Terms are for one year, with up to four consecutive years term limit.
Meetings
The board meets monthly October-August, excepting July with the Annual Meeting in September serving as that month's meeting. All meetings are open, subject to MN Open Meeting Law.
